Founded in 1964, China Nuclear Industry Fifth Construction Co., Ltd. (CNF), as an important member of China Nuclear Engineering & Construction Corporation Limited (CNEC) (stock code: 601611) which?is affiliated to China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), is a large comprehensive construction enterprise focusing on national defense projects, nuclear projects, nuclear power projects, industrial and civil building installation works.

　　As the national high-tech enterprise, CNF has obtained four Class A licenses to be a general construction contractor in the areas of electric power, electromechanical, petrochemical and building projects. Besides, we have three Class A licenses to be a professional contractor in the areas of nuclear, steel structure and hoisting equipment installation projects. CNF also has the fabrication and installation permit for national civil nuclear safety equipment, installation permit for pressure pipeline, fabrication permit for pressure vessel, installation permit for boiler, installation and maintenance permit for hoisting machinery, laboratory approval certificate from China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment, the qualification accreditation certificate of inspection and testing institutions, the accreditation certificate for welding operator assessment center of civil nuclear safety equipment from National Nuclear Safety Administration. CNF passed the recognition of the integration system of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China and obtained the evaluation certificate of the integration management system of information technologies in industrialization issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China; Evaluated by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, CNF is recognized as a national high-tech enterprise; and also the experimental unit of skill level identification center recognized by both Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and China National Nuclear Corporation.

　　In the field of nuclear power industry, CNF is the only company who has performances both in nuclear island and in conventional island all over the country. CNF successively completed the work of Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant Phase I, Guangdong Daya Bay Nuclear Power Plant, and Algeria Isotope Reactor Project. CNF independently completed the installation of Pakistan Chashma Nuclear Power Station Phase I-IV, unit 4# nuclear island and conventional island of Qinshan Nuclear Power Station Phase II expansion, the installation of Qinshan Nuclear Power Station Phase II unit 2# radiation plant and conventional island, and the general contracting project for the construction and installation of Fujian Fuqing Nuclear Power Station units 1-4# conventional island. CNF has organized to complete the heavy equipment lifting work of Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant Phase III and Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant Phase I, as well as the civil and installation work of Sanmen/Haiyang AP1000 Nuclear Power Plant Phase I. At present, CNF is organizing the "HPR 1000" Fujian Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant unit 5# and 6# conventional island installation project, Pakistan Karachi Nuclear Power Plant unit 2# and 3# installation project, Hainan Changjiang Nuclear Power Plant unit 3# and 4# nuclear island conventional island installation project, San'ao Nuclear Power unit 1# nuclear island installation project, Shidaowan high temperature gas cooled reactor conventional island installation project, Xiapu demonstration fast reactor project, Zhangzhou nuclear power project construction.

　　In the field of non-nuclear industries, founded in Shanghai, CNF takes Yangtze River Delta as the principal base while expanding toward Pearl River Delta and other areas. CNF is not only competent in general contracting for all building and/or installation projects, but also in EPC service for LNG projects. CNF has a certain degree of social visibility for petrochemical projects, electrical projects, pharmacy projects, non-standard fabrication, transportation and heavy lifting. CNF has been involved in the construction of Phase I, II, III?and IV?for?Shanghai Petrochemical Corporation and undertook many significant projects in the areas of petrochemical and chemical fiber projects, such as the first direct coal liquefaction project of China-Shenhua, fabrication and installation of Shanghai Yangshangang 200,000m3?LNG Tank project -?the biggest tank in China. Currently, nearly 50% of LNG tank works in China is occupied by CNF. In the construction section, CNF’s business scope covers housing construction, public buildings, municipal utilities, industrial plants, etc., and have the general contracting capacity of civil engineering and installation construction. CNF actively responds to the strategy for Large-Scale Development of Western China and continues to expand deep cultivation in central and western regions such as Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Hunan and Hubei.
